Alright! Best authentic by far pizza shop in Reno Carson, Dayton, Gardnerville. The time to wait is roughly an hour or so to which is normal for all of the handmade pizzas, house made dough and best ingredients by far for the quality of pizza. And all of the ambiance of the Restraunt itself is complementary to the delicacy of food here. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Jackpot! My first ever five star review. This is a hidden royal flush! This is the best pizza I've ever had and in a small slots only casino!! This is like finding the restaurant in the Mobil gas station in Lee Vining. Originality, quality, and flavor all five stars. Starting with the 72 hour dough to the house made Chicago and New York red sauces, and the quality of every ingredient on the pies. Tried four pizzas and took home lots of left overs. The Nevada, ranch hand, California Dreamin', and the Chicago deep dish ( one slice is a meal). The flavors are matched perfectly and don't overwhelm each other. And the ultimate test... awesome cold for breakfast. Not cheap, but no buyer's remorse here. If you eat this with a fork, you should be shot! Not going to be a secret for long.

Oh this is unique and delicious pizza. Fresh basil, crispy pepperoni. Oh try to he cannoli too, you will be amazed. They put a blob of ricotta in each slice of pizza that we got. Makes the pizza filling. The venue has character, it is cozy. Nice place to eat. I'll be back.

I completely agree with E.T. This is the best pizza I have had in Dayton so far. The worst thing is, it didn't come up when I did a search for Pizza in Dayton until E.T. left a review. Folks, Desert Rose Pizza is a local gem tucked into a corner of the Carson Plains Casino located on Frontage Road near Rainbow on Hwy 50. There is a sign out front, below the Casino sign, so keep a sharp eye. There is plenty of parking and room for an RV or two. Go through the front doors and to the left toward the "Restaurant" sign. (Just a brief few steps in the casino. A bit smokey, but the pizza makes it worthwile.) There is seating in Desert Rose so you can get out of the sun and sit a spell. I ordered a large pepperoni, black olive, and onion pizza to go. It was ready to go when I got there. I could hardly wait to get home. My pizza was delicious and done to perfection. The flavor was amazing and the crust was not burnt or tough to bite. The combination of cheeses was just right, the veggies fresh and not shriveled. Absolutely delicious! The folks are very nice too. They really care about their pizza and customers. How has Desert Rose Pizza stayed off the radar?! Just a reminder to all of us to give the out of the way or small eateries in our neighborhoods or on our daily commutes a look see and chance. This is one you will definitely want to try!

Hands down the BEST pizza in Dayton. But, ...... If you like cheap Pizza with average quality then you might NOT like such a great tasting GOURMET style pizza. as this. MANY styles of pizza to offer. The crust is crunchy - chewy aka PERFECT. I have tried Left Coast, Pizza Factory, 1st and 10 Grill, Pizza Hut, even King Snake Brewery pizza. All were fine. This is on a different level. I heard that the owner went to culinary school and specialized in of all things - " PIZZA "
